Soteria began operations in the Middle East in 2017 in Qatar, where the company made significant contributions to key projects related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The company now also operates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Türkiye.

A professional engineer based in New Zealand with over 30 years of experience across more than 35 countries. Recipient of the 2009 Technical Excellence award from IPWEA, the 2016 Individual Achievement Award from the Institute of Asset Management (UK), and Young Engineer of the Year (2001); made a Fellow of Engineers New Zealand in 2011. Former Chairman of the Business New Zealand Transport Infrastructure Group (2011–2013) and a member of the New Zealand government task force on road maintenance.
