Infrastructure asset management consultancy
Soteria has provided infrastructure asset management services to agencies in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Marshall Islands, Tonga and Saudi Arabia, and has built alliances with international leading firms in the field.
What asset management delivers
- Manage infrastructure assets cost-effectively while holding a predetermined service level across the asset's service life
- Estimate asset lifecycle costs and preserve assets for future generations
- Avoid service interruption through timely periodic maintenance programmes
- Protect asset value — infrastructure assets are worth billions and lose value fast when unmanaged
- Align with international practice (World Bank HDM-4)
The asset management plan
A plan documenting the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the entity for its infrastructure assets — managing them at a predetermined level of service through systematic and periodic valuation, developing forward work programmes and cash flow, with continuous improvement driven by gap analysis.
Systems we work with
Information systems (AIMS, RAMM) and decision-support systems (dTIMS, HDM-4), which predict future asset condition from current state and the factors that drive it — traffic flow, surface type, weather and level of service — to decide whether to keep, renew, replace, update or dispose of an asset.
